Why We Charge a Retainer

Retainer Amount & Payment Deadline

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule with 24 hours’ notice. If at least 24 hours’ notice is given, your retainer can be transferred one time to a new date within 90 days.
  • Cancellations or no‑shows with less than 24 hours’ notice result in forfeiture of the retainer. Rebooking will require a new retainer. This aligns with industry policies that make retainers non‑refundable when notice is insufficient.
  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without communication will be treated as a no‑show, and the appointment may be canceled.

Refunds & Adjustments

  • All services are final. Because your specialist invests significant time and care, refunds are not provided. If an error occurs, reasonable adjustments will be made to ensure satisfaction.
  • Style changes requested at your appointment may incur an additional fee.

Payment Security & Peace of Mind

  • Deposits are processed through secure platforms. Your personal information and payment details are protected.
  • For clarity, the industry standard is to charge a non‑refundable retainer of around 25 – 30 % of the service cost, though the percentage may vary. Clearly defining this in your policy helps avoid misunderstandings.
